Jeff Hankins is president and publisher of Arkansas Business Publishing
Group in Little Rock.The company produces 23 national award-winning
niche publications across Arkansas, including Arkansas Business and
the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal, and produces two major Web
sites ó arkansasbusiness.com and arkansasjobs.net.
Jeff is also chief executive officer of Herald Haven Media in Jonesboro,
which publishes the monthly Jonesboro Occasions magazine.
A native of Pine Bluff, Jeff is a 1983 graduate of Pine Bluff High
School and a 1987 graduate of Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.
He became editor of Arkansas Business in Little Rock in 1993, was promoted
to publisher in 1996 and became president of the company in 1999. Previously
he was editor and general manager of the Northeast Arkansas Tribune
in Paragould and the Pocahontas Star Herald.
Jeff is host of ìArkansas Business With Jeff Hankins,î a monthly program
on AETN. He is a member of the Downtown Little Rock Rotary Club, the
Central Arkansas Executives Association, the UAMS Consortium, the UALR
College of Business Administration Advisory Council and the ASU College
of Communications Advisory Committee. He is also serving on the Governorís
Blue Ribbon Committee on Higher Education.
He is married to the former Carrie Cook of Beebe, and they have two
children, Luke and Sarah Kathryn.
